Gold Necklaces

Gold and Silver have been used since culture started to make jewelry or for religion purposes. Gold necklaces have always been worn with pride and distinction and signifies richness, power and nobility. In ancient times, the larger the gold, the greater the function and this also stood out to show the social status of the wearer. Things have however changed as wearing gold is a common thing these days. Currently, some of the most refined and exquisite jewelry looks like a golden thread. When you wear a thin gold necklace, you are perceived to be elegant. The diamond necklaces for example, have the stones embedded in white or yellow. This metal is therefore one of the few that can be combined with such stones. Platinum is also a very valuable metal.

Gold does not usually have any chemical reaction with any agents. It is not affected by moisture, heat or the electrical conductivity it has. Metal purity was a challenge that our fore fathers faced when they were making golden necklaces. When metal is pure, it is not hard but malleable, therefore, the need to create an alloy to give it resistance is absolutely necessary. In light of this, the gold necklaces that we wear are made of gold and another metal; Nickel, titanium or silver.
